On a French tour with Buzz Aldrin and Nervous Kid

Howdy,
we’re leaving in a bunch of hours for a handful of shows in South of France, together with our friends Buzz Aldrin and Nervous Kid. Below the listing:

After this, we’ll be playing a few shows around Italy and then we’re going to pause for a while and dedicate ourselves to our new material looking forward to recording it. Following are the remaining dates:

Alcuni di voi già lo sanno, forse altri no. Ho organizzato un paio di concerti (5 e 6 Febbraio) per contribuire a sostenere le cure di Jason Noble, il chitarrista degli Shipping News nonché dei Rachel’s e dei Rodan. Jason – 40 anni – ha scoperto solo lo scorso autunno di avere un raro tipo di tumore osseo contro cui sta lottando con la forza e la tenacia che da sempre lo caratterizzano.

Vi giro il flyer sul concerto dell’Interzona e il comunicato stampa che spiega un po’ più approfonditamene le ragioni di questi due concerti, sicuramente legate al peso finanziario delle cure chemioterapiche negli Stati Uniti.
Se riusciste a divulgarli in rete a vostra volta sarebbe una cosa fantastica ed utile.

We’ve just cleared up our video section. It is now a youtube channel. You can access it by clicking on the “video” button located on our website menu. Easy.
This way no need to upload anything from our Teleputers, we can add Blake/E/E/E videos that were uploaded on different channels as favorites.
If there’s a video around we haven’t added as favorite, it’s possibly because we totally dislike it?

A new, unofficial (live?) video

Hello hello,
we want to thank Piergiorgio for this fun psychedelic video of our brand new song “This Is Not Us”. We were playing live @ Morgana, Benevento (December 7th), unaware of the fact he was actually filming us with his small camera.

Another good thing coming out in those Morgana days is a live recording we did the day after the show, with the club shut to the public. Nobody was there except from us, Ernesto and a few friends. It was great. Gratitude to Ernesto, Vittorio and everyone @ Morgana. They were exquisite with us.
Andrea Bondi, our new Dub-Master who also recorded the performance, is working on it. Stay tuned!

The South of Italy was a beautiful experience. We have dozens of cool pics we want to share with you.

Ragusa squat Hotel La Fabbrica has just been raided by the police

We are deeply sorry the Hotel La Fabbrica, a brand new awesome squat in Ragusa Sicily, where Blake/E/E/E have successful played a few nights ago, has been raided by the police.

Our friend Sergio who was there while this happened has been taken by the cops.
We hope Ragusa citizens will do something about this asap. The Hotel was going to be a great social and cultural center, with a positive influence all over the area. Spread the word!

Following is the original message we just received from our Ragusa friends.

Stamattina(15 dicembre), quasi dopo due mesi di occupazione, è stato sgomberato dalle forze del disordine lo Spazio Autogestito La Fabbrica di ragusa, dentro è stato trovato Sergio che è stato subito portato in questura. Ancora una volta le istituzioni dimostrano di non capire le esigenze della popolazione in un posto vuoto e grigio come la città di ragusa dove dietro la maschera del “famoso” barocco si trova una popolazione sempre chiusa in casa e dalla vita assolutamente monotona con figli che stanno sempre e solo fissi davanti allo schermo. Il collettivo stava cercando di ravvivare la situazione di degrato e monotonia del centro storico con iniziative costanti e continue di tipo ricreativo e culturale come concerti, presentazione di libri e giornali studenteschi, accoglienza alle associazioni prive di sete, assemblea sul diritto alla casa, corsi gratuiti e la settimana prossima sarebbe partita una mostra d’arte.

Esprimiamo solidarietà a Sergio che è stato trovato dentro lo spazio.
